Clearly, including women in the haggadah resonates strongly.

What a week! I am floored and overwhelmed by how much coverage my haggadah supplement has gotten. Clearly, there is a deep need for feminist additions and interpretations of our Jewish texts, rituals, and traditions. I hope that this supplement is just the start of the conversation.

Lilith Magazine: #ReproShabbat

This Shabbat, National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) is hosting over 200 events across the country for #ReproShabbat! Local synagogues, NCJW sections, Hillels, JCCs, Federations, and more will be hosting panels, discussions, giving d’var Torahs (sermons), and inviting local reproductive justice activists to participate–all to affirm that abortion access is a Jewish value.

Washington Jewish Week: How D.C. Jews are Staying Calm Post-Election

This has been an agonizing 36 hours waiting and watching the results from the election roll in. Though we’ve known for weeks that we would not know the final result of the election on election day itself, it’s agonizing to wait with so much at stake. I spoke with Washington Jewish Week about what advice National Council of Jewish Women and I are giving today around being patient.
