It’s the best time of the year! All across the country, local abortion funds are launching their annual–and biggest–fundraisers. This year, I’m so excited to help the Tampa Bay Abortion Fund reach their goal of $12,000.
This Shabbat, National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) is hosting over 200 events across the country for #ReproShabbat! Local synagogues, NCJW sections, Hillels, JCCs, Federations, and more will be hosting panels, discussions, giving d’var Torahs (sermons), and inviting local reproductive justice activists to participate–all to affirm that abortion access is a Jewish value.

The landscape of abortion rights shifts daily and the ability to receive abortion care is in jeopardy with threats coming from all sides. For The Progressive, I outlined the threats to reproductive rights from the national level. It’s a snapshot of all of the Federal policies and positions that will affect abortion access in the coming days, weeks, and months. Hopefully, this makes it easier to see how you can take action as well.
